1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and 1Life 2Gether, a notary public and wedding officiant business serving Gladstone, Oregon and the surrounding Portland metro area. Contact us at nate@santana-family.com.

2. Acceptance

By using this website, submitting a booking request, or paying for a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book a service. You confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement, and that where you book on behalf of an organisation you have authority to do so.

3. What we provide

We provide notary public services (in-office, mobile, and loan signing appointments) and wedding officiant services (elopements, full weddings, and vow renewals), as described on our services page. A booking request is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm it. Notary services are performed within the limits of Oregon notary law; we cannot give legal advice, choose documents for you, or notarise incomplete or improperly presented documents.

4. Your information and conduct

You agree to give accurate booking information, keep it up to date, provide valid identification where notarisation requires it, and keep any account credentials confidential. You must not misuse this site, including: using it unlawfully, submitting fraudulent or spam requests, infringing anyone's intellectual property, or interfering with its security through malware, probing, or scraping.

5. Our intellectual property

We own this website and its content, software, text, images, ceremony scripts, and branding. You may use the site only to learn about and book our services. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or circumvent any part of it.

6. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Payment and billing

Prices are shown on the services and booking pages. Nothing is charged when you submit a request — we send a secure payment link only after we confirm your booking. Where a deposit applies, the deposit secures your date and the balance is due as agreed before or on the day of service. Travel beyond our usual service area and additional signatures may add to the quoted price; we will tell you before charging.

Payment, billing, tax, and invoicing are handled by Paddle. Their terms apply to the payment itself — see the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Tell us as soon as you can if your date, time, or location changes and we will do our best to accommodate it. Refunds are covered by our refund policy. If we ever have to cancel — illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control — we will tell you immediately and refund you in full.

9. Suspension and termination

We may decline, suspend, or cancel a booking or your access to this site for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, abusive behaviour, or where performing the service would breach the law or our professional obligations.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the fees you paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the site or breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, and the courts of Clackamas County, Oregon have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would always rather resolve things by talking first — please email us.

12. Other terms

You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control. If we update these terms, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date.
