Who we are

1Life 2Gether ("we", "us") provides notary public services and wedding officiant services in Gladstone, Oregon and the surrounding Portland metro area. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us at nate@santana-family.com.

What we collect and why

• Booking details — your name, email address, phone number, event date and time, ceremony or signing location, guest count, and any notes you add. We use these to review your request, confirm your appointment, travel to the right place, and keep in touch about your booking. Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you.
• Messages you send us — email and enquiry content, used to answer your questions and keep a record of what was agreed. Legal basis: performance of our agreement and our legitimate interest in good record keeping.
• Notarial records — where the law requires a notary journal entry, we record the information Oregon law requires. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
• Technical information — IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage logs from our hosting provider, used to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security and service reliability.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Paddle.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who help us run the site and send email — hosting, database, and email delivery providers acting on our instructions.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our services, payment processing, invoicing, refunds, and tax compliance.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary.
• Public authorities and courts where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Booking and correspondence records are kept for up to seven years to meet tax, insurance, and professional record-keeping needs. Notarial journal records are kept for the period Oregon law requires. Anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to certain uses, or ask us to stop sending you messages. Email nate@santana-family.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in California, you may exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA free of charge and without discrimination.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to the accounts that need it.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to run the secure payment page. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though the owner sign-in and payment pages may then stop working.

Changes

If we update this notice, we will change the date above and publish the new version on this page.
